Arriving in the US in 2004, Eamon was immediately inspired by his new surroundings — the crossroads of some of his favorite music: punk, indie rock and underground dance music. His inspirations led him to start a party called Calling All Kids, an homage to New York legend Arthur Russell and the vibrant downtown scene of the 1980s. The party’s success catapulted him onto guest spots at the legendary Motherfucker party (including a memorable line-up which included The Cramps), into a residency alongside hip-hop forefather Afrika Bambaataa at APT, and into the driver's seat at a party called FUN. At FUN--the flagship party for the now gone Studio B--Eamon actively led the bookings and production, bringing a rich variety of talent through the doors ranging from the maximal boisterous dance music of Berlin's Modeselektor to old school electro of The Egyptian Lover and the new school disco of Escort.
During this time he somehow managed to hold down a bi-monthly residency in Berlin at TAPE, a club which hosts the worlds freshest DJ talent on a weekly basis and take in numerous tours of Europe playing the respected Phonica party in London, Pilooski's DIRTY Soundsystem party in Paris as well as guest spots at 24 Hours in Stockholm, The Button Factory in Dublin, Erste Liga in Munich, Le Baron in Paris, and Melkweg in Amsterdam.
After his time at Studio B, Eamon started Prime Time with his old friend James Friedman — a showcase for classically minded yet forward thinking dance music which hosted guests spanning from Stacey Pullen to Hercules & Love Affair to Greg Wilson at Santos Party House and LOVE.
These days Eamon focuses on Mister Saturday Night with partner Justin Carter and organizes the serene, outdoor, summertime series Sunday Best whilst also producing remixes and original productions for Wurst Music Co, Throne of Blood and Runaway's On the Prowl with his production partner Steve Raney (as 'Harkin & Raney'). His edits and productions have seen love from the likes of Harvey, Optimo, Rub n Tug, Joakim, Spencer Parker, Floating Points, Tim Sweeney, Bottin and Jacques Renault; and his parties are easily the best in New York.
